Aries Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Aries

Mar 21 - April 20

Planet: Mars

Element: Fire

Quality: Cardinal

Essential Oils:

  - Peppermint

  - Roman Chamomile
  - Rosemary

"Like art, revolutions come from combining what exists into what has never existed before."
= Gloria Steinem, born March 25

"Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define!"
- Thomas Jefferson, born April 13

"She'll cut your head off and you won't even know you're bleeding."
- Alexandra Pelosi referring to her mother, Nancy Pelosi, born March 26

Ask for a volun..., I'll do it, I'll do it... teer, and an Aries hand will excitedly wave without knowing the details. Could it be to assist in vaccinating the Huli Tribe in the most remote area of Papua New Guinea or plan a  strategy for selling the most girl scout cookies. Why hasn't anyone marketed Thin Mints as a diet food? Why indeed Aries. You would be the first. But then,  that suits this highly energetic, competitive, courageous, and impulsive soul (Thinning Thin Mints - -on second thought, I would rethink that one ). Aries reflects in many ways the character of Spring, symbolized as the Ram's horns, we can also see the sign represented by the toughness in a tiny seedling, despite all obstacles, pushing through the soil to make its presence known. Winter is so yesterday says the little plant, I'm going to hit the ground running. And like Sinclair the dinosaur "I'm the Baby, Gotta Love Me.", we do love our first sign of the zodiac, even if their fiery Mars antics necessitates a timeout now and then.

Oils for Aries:

Peppermint

Peppermint can be a balm to the headstrong Aries when they suffer from headaches and angry outbursts. Diving headfirst into any endeavor, one may regret not reading the fine print first. A summer organic Farming Class sounds very cool, but studying sustainable soil management without a joy ride on a combine will never work for these doers. Aries will lead the class in a revolt, dominate the instructor who will relent to their demands and who will never want to hear the words John Deere ever again! Fresh, assertive, powerful peppermint you have met your match in Aries.

Roman Chamomile

Don't let the daisy like flowers of this plant fool you. Gentle Roman Chamomile has the ability to calm the heat of the mind and body. Hippocrates in the 4th century BC used it for fevers. When there is tension in the solar plexus (related to our self-worth and our need to control) Roman Chamomile can relieve and address the issues of the ego so that your dear friends, colleagues, romantic partners, and pets, are not overwhelmed by that big Mars personality. You're uncomplicated, generous, honest, direct, and enthusiastic and life doesn't always have to be a competition. Just chill like a daisy on occasion!

Rosemary

Warm and stimulating just like any Aries, it can be the perfect antidote to an exhausting day of hiking, biking, ballooning, canoeing, and tax preparation. Great for those weary muscles and an exhausted mind. Now Aries is ready to take on the rest of the day. Lunch anyone?

Taurus Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Taurus:

April 21 - May 21

Planet:  Venus

Element:  Earth

Quality:  Fixed

Essential Oils:

   - Coriander

   - Helichrysum
   - Ravensara

"And for all I know, he is sitting there still, under his favorite Cork Tree, smelling the flowers just quietly"
- From "Ferdinand the Bull"

"I love things that are indescribable. like the taste of an avocado, or the smell of a gardenia"
Barbara Streisand, born April 24

"I'm here to build something for the long-term. Anything else is a distraction."
"Move fast and break things. Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough."

- Mark Zuckerberg, born May 14

Somebody put a leash on that bull ... he's breaking stuff in our democratic gift store!

Really Mark, just sit by the flowers with Ferdinand and Barbara.

The plants and trees are coming into full bloom and glorious earth is providing the décor to party -- Be it the ancient holiday of Beltane (May Day) or the newish Earth Day! And Taurus is in his element, digging the dirt, then indulging in a luxurious scented bath, assessing his assets (earth sign passion), devouring a steak or Beyond Burger, and ending the evening with romance. Humans are not that complicated, says our grounded friend.

Oils for Taurus:

Coriander

Seed oils support digestive disorders, and Coriander can help the Taurean who can't resist that third glass of wine or another piece of that yummy strawberry pie (Yes we know, that strawberries are in season and they come from your garden, but that does not affect those calories!) Eat the fresh fruit instead and apply the diluted Coriander to your stomach (sigh) after you stubbornly refuse to listen (a core trait of this sign).

Helichrysum

An adult Taurus is still besties with the kid who loaned her a crayon in kindergarten, and in marriage it can be "The War Of the Roses" except nobody leaves or dies. It just goes on and on (remember the stubborn stuff). Fortunately, most Taureans are loving and dependable partners. These people are creatures of habit and not fond of any change. Helichrysum helps with adapting to new situations. It helps Taurus to see that change can be beneficial and that feet firmly planted on the ground is admirable but sometimes you have to get off my lawn!
Helichrysum physically aids in the healing of scars and wounds and can also help on an emotional and energetic level with unresolved issues and psychological hurt.

Ravensara

Taurus rules the throat and many wonderful singers and performers are born under this sign. Barbra, Adele, Cher, and Lizzo - - no last name necessary. So gals, best to keep this powerful antiviral oil around for any respiratory issues. Great for the immune system, it can also address negative and repetitive thoughts. Ravensara can assist in creativity and focus and soon, all will be singing "Happy Days are Here Again",  right, Ms. Streisand?

Gemini Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Gemini

May 22 - June 23

Planet:  Mercury

Element:  Air

Quality:  Mutable

Essential Oils:

   - Grapefruit

   - Basil
   - Bergamot

"I change during the course of a day. I wake and I'm one person, and when I go to sleep I know for certain I'm somebody else."
  - Bob Dylan, born May 24

One of our most influential artists. We are grateful for that Gemini restlessness that inspired him to experiment with different genres including traditional folk, protest, folk rock, rock & roll, country, gospel, and blues.

"I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn, and a king"
  -  Lyrics to "That's Life" (Can be applied to most Geminis!)

"Can we talk?"

  - Joan Rivers, born June 8

Yes, Joan! We can chat, gossip, babble, prattle, communicate, converse.  We are in the presence of Gemini, so expect those quick minded children of Mercury to expound on many topics. You will be delighted by their intellect, wit, and their ability to flip from subject to subject (and as a bonus,  they brought their twin, so expect twice the fun and double the brain power). And for the less evolved, rambling, scattered types of Gemini - - perhaps some duct tape and ADD medicine?

Oils for Gemini:

Grapefruit Essential Oil

After thousands of dollars in student loans and acing that bar exam, you have decided that law isn't for you. even if your closing arguments could be considered performance art. You have always (starting yesterday) dreamed of studying with Buddhist monks and taking a vow of silence (fat chance). As those feet are firmly planted mid air, inhale the fresh uplifting scent of grapefruit to dispel those indigestible options for you! Perhaps pickleball or birding can feed your searching soul!

Basil Essential Oil

"A mind is a terrible thing to waste" so stop those negative and ruminating thoughts with help from the smell of pungent basil. And who knows, your next obsession may be finding the right mozzarella and tomato for a Caprese Salad. No harm there!

Bergamot Essential Oil

Perfect for nervous tension and insomnia (stop the middle of the night tweeting!), this uplifting oil can be relaxing, clarifying, and uplifting. It is as light as a carefree summer afternoon and we associate Gemini with this joyful, airy and chill time of the year! Think of all those stimulating talks we can have while floating on a noodle.

Cancer Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Cancer

June 23 - July 22

Planet:  Moon

Element:  Water

Quality:  Cardinal

Essential Oils:

   - Tangerine

   - Cardamom
   - Blue Tansy

"Family is the most important thing in the world"

"I don't go by the the rule book; I lead from the heart, not the head."

    - Princess Diana, born July 1

"My relationship with my mom is really the single most profound relationship that I've ever had in my life"

"There is no sunrise so beautiful that it is worth waking me up to see it"

Mindy Kaling, born June 24

"You cannot look up at the night sky on the Planet Earth and not wonder what it's like to be up there amongst the stars. I always look up at the moon and see it as the single most romantic place within the cosmos".

    - Tom Hanks, born July 9

Of course you do, Tom. You and your above moon "sisters" can seek solace from that silvery white balloon in the sky like no other sign. Better than gazing at a sunrise as Mindy K. may grab you with her pincers or a biting remark (not sure which causes more damage)!

And to paraphrase the great Forrest Gump: Cancerians are "like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."

Because, like the crab, a hard(er) exterior protects the hidden mushy middle.

Oils for Cancer:

Tangerine Essential Oil

So your date says "Your cheeks are so plump and pinchable" and you decide to go back to your secure shell/home and never talk to this dude again. He lures you with heartfelt apologies, home made garlic mashed potatoes, and the scent of tangerine. A perfect sweet and zesty mood booster, you will now be able to trust him again until the next stupid comment.

Cardamom Essential Oil

Considered a gentle tonic of the brain and nervous system, this oil has been used in both Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for over 3,000 years. Perfect for Cancer (it even has mom in the word for these mama lovers) this oil can aid in digestion when stress results in emotional eating. "Whenever we feel deprived of opportunity or generosity, and fear that we may be denied fulfillment, cardamom oil reminds us of life's true abundance, and restores our desire for contentment".

Blue Tansy Essential Oil

We love our  funny Cancers and Blue Tansy brings out all that wild creativity and play.

Think  "The Producers" by Mel Brooks (Sure, all the other sun signs can write with with humor and wit, but what other sign could conceive of such lunacy as "Springtime for Hitler"). Only, our lunar ones!!

And the blue color will inspire you Crustaceans to go with the flow!

Leo.jpg

Leo

July 23 - Aug 22

Planet:  Sun

Element:  Fire

Quality:  Fixed

Essential Oils:

   - Rose

   - Neroli
   - Sweet Orange

Ask any Leo for a stick of gum and invariably you get two!  Generous, big-hearted, and yes, big-headed. I'm talking to you Napoleon Bonaparte, Fidel Castro, and Jennifer Lopez. Just kidding Jennifer. I'm sure you have all the positive attributes of the big cat sign, including that gorgeous mane.

And speaking of manes, you may question why our Former President sports a starched cotton candy coiffure, and that orange glow -- Leo rising, of course. Whatever it takes to produce that King of the Jungle vibe!

We associate Leo with the middle of Summer. Yay! We have arrived at this delicious time to relax and enjoy the stable, familiar, warmth of the sun. "Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows" said a sunflower and a Leo!

Oils for Leo:

- Rose Essential Oil

Leo rules the heart. When there are issues of inflammation, rose provides a cool and soothing yin "tonic" to address too much yang (heat) energy. All that roaring has its consequences. Depression in a Leo can manifest as loud, ruminating, whining behavior. Quiet contemplation? Not for these Drama lovers.

- Neroli Essential Oil

Named after an Italian princess (a definite plus for our regal Leos) this sensual and uplifting oil clears heat and agitation. Neroli addresses cardiovascular issues including high blood pressure.

- Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Light-hearted, happy, sunshine in a bottle -- representative of Leo at its most joyous, playful, creative, magnanimous self. It's as if you repeatedly complemented Leo's wonderfulness and rubbed their head, all at the same time.

That cat will purr!

virgo.png

Virgo

Planet:   Mercury

Element:  Earth

Quality:  Mutable

Aug 23 - Sept 22

Essential Oils:

   - Lavender

   - Sweet Fennel
   - Roman Chamomile

"If I weren't performing, I'd be a beauty editor or a therapist. I love creativity, but I also love to help others."

    - Beyonce

(Yes you would, Virgo!)

OK kids, time to pack up the beach chairs, empty the cooler of mango mojitos and finish Mary Trump's memoir. Summer's lazy days are over and that means shopping for new office/school supplies. Can't you just taste the creamy paste of childhood long ago? Nothing creates more joy to our research loving Virgo than a 4 pack of red sharpie chisel tip permanent markers (great for nit-picky... uh I meant, constructive criticism) or a 12 pack of yellow post it notes. Sure the day glow ones are super cool, but there is a buy one get one free on the yellow ones, and our practical Virgo can resist temptation. Leave the flashy, full priced ones to those extravagant, extroverted Fire signs. You see, our thrifty Virgo has saved up for a deluxe condo at the beach, so bring on those Mojitos and let's party on! Just don't forget:

1. insect repellent

2. sunscreen SPF # infinity

3. aloe after burn spray

4. beach tent

5. thesaurus

7. kale chips (did you expect Doritos from our health conscious Virgo?)

8. antacid

Oils for Virgo:

Lavender -

From the Latin "lavare" meaning "to wash", this essential oil superstar can soothe a burn, treat a rash, and heal any frazzled and overworked Virgo. It's as if an angelic nurse burst into your room, opened a window, changed the sheets, and brought you a cool glass of natural artesian water from the Australian Alps. Now Virgo can face the inbox feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to be of service!

Sweet Fennel -

Elimination of unnecessary debris is the goal of every Virgo! Warm, comforting Fennel can dispel those ruminating thoughts that can affect our sensitive Virgo's digestive system. Fennel can unleash the "stuck feelings" of this Mercury ruled soul and allow those brainy, pithy, creative thoughts to come to the surface.

Roman chamomile -

Oh dear Virgo, today, you have volunteered to design a web page for cat adoptions, offered to help your sister's boyfriend's application to law school, assisted the new employee with the expense report and hosted a zoom book club at lunchtime. Your colleague asked you to join her for D&D tonight and you responded with dagger eyes and a sharp NO. Time for sweet, gentle, Roman chamomile to soothe all that nervous tension in your solar plexus, quiet the inner and outer critic, and provide a comforting energetic chill pill. Hey, this oil was good enough to calm the soldiers of ancient Rome, so it should do wonders for an office warrior.

Libra Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Libra

Sept 23 - Oct 22

Planet: Venus

Element: Air

Quality: Cardinal

Essential Oils:

- Geranium

- Juniper Berry
- Mandarin

"Everything is clearer when you're in love."

- John Lennon

This child of Venus will assess your partnership suitability before last names are exchanged! Will he/she have the flexibility to pick up the kids from day care? Be open to wintering in Florida when you retire? Share outrage at any form of discrimination? And share, our Libra must, because yes,  all love is great, but connecting intellectually, intimately, and soulfully with another is their Raison D'être!

The first thing you notice about a Libra is that incredible smile. Beautiful or pronounced, it is their secret weapon. Hopefully, for good.  Who knows how much President Carter's smile influenced Sadat and Begin to choose peace over conflict. Perhaps Eleanor Roosevelt's famous grin nudged Franklin to promote various New Deal projects. Libra knows that to "smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart" (Anthony J. D'Angelo)

Those born under the sign of the scales are natural diplomats, lovers of fairness and justice. They can also be indecisive because they can see all sides of a matter.

Best to not offer plastic or paper at the grocery store. While our Libra ponders the seven-fold increase in greenhouse gas emissions from the greater mass and weight of paper vs the 500 years it takes for a plastic bag to degrade in a landfill, the clerk nervously eyes the long line of impatient customers. Libra sensitive to the possibility of not being liked, decides to take one of each and will remember to bring his own bags in the future. Problem solved. Crisis averted. Peace reigns at the Piggly Wiggly!

Oils for Libra:

Geranium

Libra is drawn to its sweet aroma. When feeling emotionally overwhelmed, Geranium provides calmness so that Libra can return to her natural, balanced state just like the gentle early Fall, not too hot, not too cold.

Juniper Berry

After that 4th glass of Dom Pérignon and that entire sleeve of tiramisu Oreos, it's time for a detox. Blame it on Venus, that sensuous trouble maker. Juniper Berry comes to the rescue, clearing the air as well as the complexion and supporting those needy kidneys. Libra is glowing again, attractive, balanced. and refreshed.

Mandarin

When our genial host of the Universe acts like a tyrannical toddler, let Mandarin soothe all that negativity. Perhaps those rare tantrums are from sleep deprivation, too much partying, too many carbs, or all that exhausting niceness. Mandarin can uplift the spirit and provide a warm, safe blanket of protection. The Mandarin fruit during the Chinese New Year symbolizes luck, prosperity, and longevity. That should make a Libra heart smile!

Scorpio Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Scorpio

Oct 23 - Nov 21

Planet: Pluto

Element: Water

Quality: Fixed

Essential Oils:

- Patchouli

- Jasmine
- Palo Santo

"People say I am ruthless. I am not ruthless and if I find the man who is calling me ruthless, I shall destroy him."

- Bobby Kennedy

"The unforgivable crime is soft hitting. Do not hit at all if it can be avoided, but never hit softly." or "Speak softly and carry a big stick".
- Teddy Roosevelt

Love the fight club vibe, you sons of Pluto, and totally get the menacing implications.  But this fan of the Divine Feminine is going to refill her wine box and catch another episode of Schitt$ Creek.  And maybe later, I'll watch a couple of docs on those boys of History. How Bobby fought "ruthlessly against crime syndicates, bigotry, and poverty. And how our "rough rider" President provided a conservation legacy of 230 million acres of public lands and earned a reputation as a progressive trust buster.  "Bully" for them!

These were complicated men. Of course, they represented the passion and intensity of our dear mysterious Scorpios.

Ask a Scorpio what she had for breakfast and you may have to probe gingerly.
Does it rhyme with "smeggs"?  Nothing. Crickets.

Trust is very important to this sign and it may take many moons before they spill the tea. Just put on your scuba gear and prepare for a deep dive to explore the intricacies and fascinating depths of this water sign. Once they feel sure about you and have completed an FBI check, expect a loyal, generous and empathetic relationship. Like Teddy, he will put down his stick (scorpion stinger) and embrace you with a loving bear hug while you gasp for air.

Oils for Scorpio:

Patchouli

Let's take an imaginary Ken Kesey bus back to the 60's. As we enter a head shop, we can't help but notice a pungent, earthy fragrance that promises spiritual awakening, sexual enlightenment (how can this sign associated with sexuality resist?) and rejection of old norms, including deodorant.

A few passengers are overwhelmed by the intensity and scent, and go in search of frozen yogurt (sorry guys, that's a seventies thing).

Jasmine

Scorpios will appreciate this calming oil that provides a snuggie or straight jacket to the soul when repressed feelings are about to explode. Endorphins are activated and all is well. The added benefit is Jasmine adds to sexual desire and the entire Universe is headache-free.

Bliss for our sensual Scorpios.

Palo Santo

Used in Shamanic Circles, this essential oil is perfect for those Scorpio moods. When diffused, this "holy wood" can reset negative energy.  Like Patchouli, the smell can be very strong, but our Scorpios are no wimps in that department. Used by indigenous people for centuries, this oil is a great respiratory aid. Great for meditation and grounding, it can also lighten the Scorpion intensity, But not too much, we hope.

Halloween is around the corner, a holiday associated with the Scorpion energy (Ghosts, Goblins, the Shadow side, and slutty costumes). Oh boy! What a treat!

Sagittarius Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Sagittarius

Nov 22 - Dec 21

Planet: Jupiter

Element: Fire

Quality: Mutable

Essential Oils:

- Black Pepper

- Rosemary
- Lime

"I was brought up to believe that the only thing worth doing was to add to the sum of accurate information in the world".
- Margaret Mead,  born December 16

"I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house. We had an enormous feast and then I killed them and took their land."
- Jon Stewart,  born November 28

A compliment from a Sagittarius can be a touch painful.

"Did you lose weight? You look wonderful. When I saw you last, you resembled  a Pufferfish."

(Sag mimics a Pufferfish to add insult to the arrow's injury)

Ouch!

In their (at times) inelegant and unconscious way, they are wired to deliver the truth, and nothing but the truth. Sagittarius, the archer, is represented by a Centaur holding a bow and arrow. The archer guides the arrows toward a specific goal: truth and justice. So perhaps our highly evolved Sagittarians will tell you you're cute (if true), spread sunshine and fiery warmth, and tell endless amusing anecdotes, as you gallop away to some new adventure.

These lucky, smart children of Jupiter love travel, freedom, animals, people, sports, games, and information - a.k.a. life!

Make sure you invite them to the next trivia night before they get restless, yearn for distant horizons, and canter towards a diverse posse to hang with.

Oils for Sagittarius:

Black Pepper

When our wandering Sagittarians return from an Ashram in Chennai (always on a quest for spiritual/religious enlightenment) and have only a few days before hitting the slopes in Mont Tremblant (always on a quest for a good time), Black Pepper is the perfect answer to jet lag and fatigue. It's a no nonsense tonic that targets achy muscles and relieves sluggishness. Great for the sign that wants to live life to the fullest!

Rosemary

This oil can enhance the sharpness of this brilliant Centaur. Perfect for recalling information (and Sagittarians love to share their knowledge) this warm, crisp, and pungent oil can clear away the snark and release negative emotions (probably due to a busy daily schedule of spreadsheets, pals, organizations, classes, bridge, gardening, and trips to the dog park). A drop of Rosemary and a shiny new itinerary can work wonders!

Lime

Uplifting and invigorating as are all citrus essential oils, lime has attitude!
Sure, lemon and grapefruit are familiar and reliable to keep the blues at bay, but lime appeals to the restless Sagittarian soul and promises never to bore. Great for a healthy immune system, lime provides the pop. Dilute with coconut oil and Sag will have visions of a Caribbean beach, snorkeling gear, and more tales to tell!

Capricorn Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Capricorn

Dec 22 - Jan 20

Planet: Saturn

Element: Earth

Quality: Cardinal

Essential Oils:

Geranium

- Wintergreen
- Cedarwood

" A place for everything, everything in its place."
- Benjamin Franklin (born January 17)

"However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at."
- Stephen Hawking (born January 8)

"And why do you need a new pair of black shoes. Don't you already have a pair?"

- My husband (born January 14)

Yes, my husband, a most practical Capricorn. I knew it was true love when after a minor tiff while dating, he called to tell me, I needed air in my tires.

Translation: I am dependable, serious, and I care about your welfare. Forget about that Aquarian guy suggesting matching tattoos of Che Guevara.

A girl could swoon!

Capricorns are a sure bet in business, friendship, and life. They are the perfect well-scrubbed cheerleader when you are sharing good news and provide wise (after all, they were born middle-aged parents) and useful advice when dealing with your issues:

Ala Cher: "snap out of it" and wear the mask!!

Organize your spice rack alphabetically and you won't waste time looking for that smoked paprika.

Stay an extra hour at work and set a good example to the other employees.

Capricorns are symbolized by the sea-goat. This creature has the body of a goat from the waist up and the tail of a fish. The goat navigates steep and rocky cliffs to get to the top of the mountain. The fish represents the ability to explore the unfathomable deepest of the deep. An odd combination, you say.  Think of Richard Nixon (born January 9) taking a casual stroll on the beach wearing wing tip dress shoes, slacks, and a jacket.

Ah, the mystery of Capricorn!

Oils for Capricorn:

Geranium

Sweet, floral, spicy, and green, this exotic oil works wonders on Capricorns feeling constrained by their innate sense of duty. This balancing oil allows the goat/fish people to be spontaneous, play, and metaphorically, throw off their wing tips at the beach (see Nixon). Who knows, they may order Chinese takeout on Sunday instead of their usual Italian dinner. The Universe will smile on such madcap behavior

Wintergreen

You Capricorns that suffer with knee discomfort should try a drop of wintergreen (diluted, of course). This crisp and cool balm is one of the best oils for pain relief and will have you climbing every mountain and breathing in the sweet air. Just like Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music, you'll be dancing like Saturn, the task master, isn't watching. Lay ee odl lay ee odl-oo

Cedarwood

Cedrus comes from the Arabic word kedron meaning "power. This woody oil mentioned in the Bible has a symbiotic relationship with Capricorn. It stands for strength in times of crisis. When your teenager accidently backs into another car and causes some real damage, would she turn to a Cottonwood with weak wood ready to drop at any stormy situation? No, you  turn to the wise elder of Cedarwood. Strong, powerful, present, it will boost his confidence and take a negative situation and transform it into wisdom. And clear her acne as well. But the stern Capricorn energy will ground him for a very long time!

Aquarius Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Aquarius

Jan 20 - Feb 18

Planet: Uranus

Element: Air

Quality: Fixed

Essential Oils:

Patchouli

- Lavender
- Cypress

"He hated cliques and social snobbery, never had a negative word for anyone but tyrants and despots and opposed all malicious gossip, stopping all such gossipers with a trademark Tommy line -- forgive me, but it's hard to be a human."
- Rep. Jamie Raskin's tribute to his late son Thomas Bloom Raskin, born January 30

One can always spot an Aquarian at any soiree by their unique choice of attire such as Playtex dishwashing gloves with vintage Chanel.  According to this eccentric and creative soul:

" I just couldn't find the right shade of yellow to make my

periwinkle dress pop. Besides, they're practical if it rains."

(Interesting. I wonder if they come in navy?)

And a trend is born.

At same social occasion, our airy charmer will be surrounded by new fans and adoring pals. All happy to join in all the fun and bubbling bonhomie. In one picosecond, you will have a new BFF.

Just curb the neediness as freedom is paramount to these individuals. So no constant texting and 3 am phone calls because you have insomnia and there's nothing left to watch on Netflix. These people are busy! Either with their own thoughts or out saving the world or busy with thoughts about saving the world.

You don't want to become a wet blanket in case a hostile Water Bearer (symbol of Aquarius) aims in your direction!

Just go with the flow and you will be welcomed with loving arms, an empathetic ear, and brainy out of the box analysis.

As you kvetch to your new companion about sleeping issues, he will suggest meditation apps, Amethyst crystals, and hemp melatonin gummies. Tell this magical soul you are signing up for the World Wildlife 5k walk and as Rick would say in Casablanca:

"I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship".

Oils for Aquarius:

Patchouli

Finally, we are in the Age of Aquarius, a perfect fit for these humanitarians, so dig out your peace beads, flowery peasant blouse, and hip hugger bell-bottom jeans (you know, the outfit you wore last week to the Greta Thunberg Meet-and-Greet). Inhale the pungent Patchouli to complete the vibe and "Harmony and Understanding Sympathy and Trust Abounding" will be our new International Anthem. Patchouli with its earthy and grounding scent will help floaty Aquarius focus and finish mundane tasks. Those bills aren't going to pay themselves!

Lavender

Aquarius, you are the "bee's knees" of the Zodiac. Cool, warm, and everything in between. But you do have a shadow side (we all do). When those chaotic emotions appear, Lavender is the perfect aid to ease worry and tension. The clean, fresh smell can dispel negativity. With lavender, we can soften the stubbornness (you are a fixed sign after all) and joyfully continue our debate on ethical issues in advanced AI without the drama.

Cypress

Aquarius rules the ankles, calves, and shins so a few drops diluted should address any aches or pains after those long marches for various causes.

This essential oil is also good for circulatory issues such as varicose veins. Cypress, can calm the mind as well as open the mind to higher consciousness. It can help Aquarians commune with loved ones on the other side when their loved ones on this side are getting on their nerves!

It's always better to have variety, said every Aquarian.

Pisces Zodiac AstroOil | www.AdriennesAromas.com

Pisces

Feb 19 - Mar 20

Planet: Neptune

Element: Water

Quality: Mutable

Essential Oils:

Sandalwood

- Angelica Root
- German Chamomile

"Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of spirit of party generally."

George Washington's Farewell Address.  (George Washington born February 22)

"There's no question, none, that President Trump is practically and  morally responsible for provoking the events of the day. No question about it. The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their President."  Mitch McConnell (born February 20) said Donald Trump was not constitutionally eligible for conviction since he was no longer in office when Senators voted on whether to convict or acquit. But he never called back the Senate into session after the January 13 impeachment.

Ah Mitch, you were swimming in both directions (just like the symbol of Pisces) You could have joined Mitt Romney (born March 12) and swam toward the light. Oh well, different strokes for slippery eels. Perhaps a therapist or an ichthyologist could explain the Piscean characteristic of self-less love and compassion for others as your desire to put your donors' needs above all or your willingness to sacrifice logic to save the Party (see George Washington) as a noble thing. To me, it all sounds fishy.

Oils for Pisces:

Sandalwood

"Sometimes I feel like I'm actually on the wrong planet. It's great when I'm in my garden, but the minute I go out the gate I think what the hell am I doing here?"

George Harrison (born February 25)

"The Quiet Beatle" unlike the chatty other ones.

Well George, if you lived during 2020, you would have run screaming into your garden and hid under the tomato bushes.

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and displays the characteristics of all the signs. They have one foot gingerly planted on Earth and the other foot inching out the door in search of other dimensions devoid of judgments, DMV lines, and waiting on the phone for cable service providers. This dreamy and mysterious sign can benefit from Sandalwood and its use in prayer and meditation. It provides strength and protection so that Pisces can truly express their authentic self.  Such bliss. You can almost hear the other-worldly sounds of George jamming on his sitar.

Angelica Root

Called the Oil of Angels and Holy Spirit Root, how could this not be perfect for such spiritual souls? Great for connecting with our divinity, Angelica Root can ground the fantasist and guide our fish friend towards discovery of one's own inner resources. Pisces, you are the social worker of the zodiac and rarely say no to a friend/stranger in need. So when your co-worker asks to crash at your place for the night which then turns into a month and there are ex-boyfriends, dogs, cats, and a ferret involved, not mentioned beforehand.  You have to put your foot down (the one on earth) and learn to say NO or your generosity turns to martyrdom and no one wants to experience a moody, passive-aggressive substance abusing Angel from Hell!

German Chamomile (Blue Chamomile)

The Blue Ocean. The Blue representing the throat Chakra --Blue Chamomile: A perfect oil to resonate with Neptune's "Progeny".
Our very artistic Pisces can use German Chamomile to assist in clear communication. For the dancing Pisces cutting the rug all night in stilettos, it will provide amazing anti-inflammatory relief and heal those abused toes and arches. And now Pisces is free to tend to our earthly needs. Lucky us (with boundaries, of course).
